Community Health Solutions of Louisiana (CHS-LA) is committed to providing all participating providers with the best tools available to make their claim submission process as efficient as possible. CHS-LA can accept claims in both paper and electronic format.
Providers must submit claims for covered Medicaid State Plan services to CHS-LA for preprocessing for our members. Claims for carved-out services, must be submitted directly to Molina. CHS-LA will preprocess claims and submit clean claims to Molina within two business days for adjudication and payment, and four business days for paper claims with attachments. Remittance Advices will still be provided by Molina exactly as they are now. If a claim is determined not to be a clean claim, CHS-LA will reject it back to the provider with a written explanation of rejection. When directly submitting claims for our members, please submit with our Payer ID number-CLA11. If submitting claims through a third party, please contact your submitter to determine if they are accepting our Payer ID (CLA11) or if they require you to submit claims for CHS-LA members with a proprietary Payer ID.
We have established direct interface capabilities for all providers serving CHS-LA Members to enable CHS-LA to accept claims electronically.
